The SPDSA Christmas Camp is designed to keep players active during the Christmas break by providing a program that is cognizant of Long Term Player Development (LTPD) principles. The Camps focus is on individual player development within a fun learning environment. The Camp provides an age and stage appropriate learning environment for all players, regardless of their baseline skill levels and game understanding. The Camp is designed not to replace other grassroots programs, rather training to compliment these programs by enriching each players learning and development. Training is focused on Fundamental Movement Skills, Soccer Technique, Coordination, and Small Sided Game play within a fun environment.
Each age and stage of development has a technical curriculum that follows the guidelines set out in Canada Soccer's LTPD.
Players are grouped based on age and stage of development. SPDSA's qualified and experienced Technical team will oversee and deliver these sessions.
